No snatching gun from Hluntin, it is an allegation

Maungdaw, Arakan State:   There is no gun snatching from Hluntin and it is only an allegation to harass Rohingya community in Maungdaw, according to a village administrator officer from Maungdaw Township.

“The rumor was spread in the town that some Rohingyas try to snatch a gun of Hluntin from a check post – between Myoma Kyayoungdan and Myothugyi village – on Maungdaw –Buthidaung motorway at about 8:00pm on June 27 where the authority imposed emergency ACT 144 and curfew from 6:00pm to 6:00am.”
How the Rohingya people are able to go out from their homes within this period and not able to gather more than 2 persons .Is it possible to snatch a gun from the check post, which is stationed on the road where most of security vehicles have been running all the time?, said a teacher from the village.
“It is only a plan to harass and extort money from Rohingyas by giving this allegation.  It is totally false.”
“The Rohingya community is not able to go out to buy foods in day time where they become starvation for shortage of foods and how the Rohingyas move in the night where authority imposed curfew only for Rohingyas.”
“In Maungdaw, only Rohingyas  are arrested  and no Rakhine was arrested  since the unrest occurred on June 8 as the Rakhine community is fully supported by authorities.”
