Maungdaw, Arakan State: Three Rohingya dead bodies have been floating under the Maungdaw Jetty of Maungdaw Town since August 30, according to fishing men who work inside the stream.
“This was seen by some fishermen while they were pushing their nets in the Kayan Khali stream. Hearing the news, local villagers tried to save and to bring the dead bodies; but, they were not able to do so as the security forces were patrolling there,” said a youth from the locality.
Rohingya people are kept in the village by imposing emergency Act 144 and state of curfew while other community is freely moving to attack the Rohingya community with the help of security forces. Rohingya people are unable to know who are arrested, killed by security forces such as —-police, Hluntin (riot police), Sarapa (Military Intelligence), army, and Nasaka (Burma’s border security force), said a local elder.
